Important Note About Celebrants and Musicians

The service fee covers facility use only. You are responsible for arranging and compensating any clergy, celebrants, or musicians for your service.

Honorariums should be negotiated directly with each service provider
Bay View can assist in providing contact information for local celebrants and musicians
All financial arrangements with clergy and musicians are the responsibility of the applicant

Policies & Agreement

By submitting this reservation, I acknowledge and agree to the following:

Sponsorship: All chapel services must be sponsored by a Bay View Association member in good standing.
Clergy: All clergy must be approved by the Director of Worship prior to the service.
Payment: Full payment is required to secure your reservation date.
Access: Setup may begin one hour before the scheduled service time. The chapel must be vacated within one hour following the service.
Capacity: The chapel has a maximum capacity of 108 guests, with comfortable seating for approximately 80.
Alcohol & Decorations: Alcohol is not permitted on Bay View grounds. Rice, birdseed, and confetti are not permitted on the grounds. Florals are welcome on the table behind the altar and should be no more than 12 inches deep and 3 feet tall. Other floral arrangements are subject to approval by the Director of Worship.
Season & Climate: The chapel is available May through October. Please note that the chapel does not have climate control, and portable climate-control units are not permitted.
Cancellations: Cancellations made at least 30 days in advance are eligible for a full refund.
Restrooms: Two restrooms are available in the Crouse Chapel, and additional restrooms are available in the building east of the chapel entrance.
Receptions: A reception in another Bay View building requires a separate Application for Use of Bay View Facilities. Organizers set up and take down their own tables and chairs.
